Why so serious?? After all its just paint on the wall...

It seems to be the unfortunate darker side of graffiti… That is ones own personal pursuit clashing with

another’s. OR more simply a healthy competitive nature becoming obscured and resulting in jealousy and/

or bitter rivalry. Some may say this is expected with in such an art-form where it becomes harder and

harder to stand out amongst the rest? And ultimately, most of us fell in love with graffiti for sheer impact

it makes ON society and amongst each of us involved… This being said, most of us have at one stage or

another had the experience with bumping heads or rubbing shoulders with someone the wrong way.

We all try and avoid it… but the reality is this shit just happens from time to time.

What is unnecessary is people jumping on bandwagons and fueling other peoples personal disputes via

media sources like the Internet. And whats the fucking point ? So people can feel they are then involved in

another writers personal world that in reality they will never be apart of..? That is just disappointing.

Now that the Internet exists there will never be a solution to this problem. We can only hope those

guilty of  contributing absolutely nothing through sheer negativity will realize in time that this kick-ass

culture of ours suffers just that little bit more every time a haters fingers hit the key board.

This latest mural by Grater and myself  is a timely reminder that sometimes we can forget the reasons

why we all started painting graffiti… When we think back – it was exciting, adventurous and above all…FUN!

And apart from professional. It should never be anything more.
